Refund Policy

Refund Policy Overview

At Canada eTA Apply, we believe in fair and transparent refund policies. We understand that circumstances change, and we want to make the refund process simple and clear. This policy outlines when refunds are available and how to request them.

Refund Conditions

1. Full Refund — Application Rejection

You qualify for a full refund if your application is rejected for any of the following reasons:

  • Application rejected due to ineligibility
  • Application denied for security or background reasons
  • Application rejected due to documentation issues
  • Any rejection by the Canadian government

2. Partial Refund — Early Cancellation

A 50% refund is available under the following conditions:

  • Request must be submitted within exactly 2 hours of application submission
  • Application must not have been submitted to the Canadian government yet
  • Request must be made in writing via email to our support team

3. No Refund — Approved Applications

Refunds are not available in the following situations:

  • Application approved and eTA issued
  • Cancellation requested more than 2 hours after submission
  • Application already submitted to the Canadian government
  • Any other cancellation requests outside the 2-hour window
  • Change of mind after approval

How to Request a Refund

Determine which refund condition applies: application rejection or cancellation within 2 hours. Check your application status and submission time.

Email our support team with your application reference number, the reason for your refund request, and any supporting documentation if applicable.

Verification

Our team will verify your request and confirm eligibility. For rejections, we'll confirm with the Canadian government. For cancellations, we'll verify the 2-hour timeframe.

Refund Processing

Once approved, your refund will be processed within 5–7 business days to your original payment method. Bank processing may take an additional 3–5 business days.

Confirmation

You'll receive an email confirmation when your refund has been processed. You can track the refund status with your bank if needed.

Special Circumstances

What if I lose my refund email?

Contact our support team with your application reference number and original payment email. We'll check our records and send confirmation of your refund status.

What if my refund hasn't appeared after 7 business days?

Contact our support team with your application reference and payment details. Processing delays can occasionally occur due to bank issues. We'll investigate and follow up with your bank if necessary.

Can I transfer my refund as a credit for a future application?

Yes, in some cases. If you received a rejection and want to reapply, contact us to discuss using your refund as a credit toward a new application. Terms apply.

What if I was charged multiple times?

Contact our support team immediately with your payment receipt. We'll investigate duplicate charges and process full refunds for any incorrect charges within 2 business days.

  • Debit card: 5–7 business days
  • PayPal / Digital wallet: 2–3 business days
  • International payments may take longer

Policy Updates: We reserve the right to update this policy with 30 days notice. Changes will be posted on this page. Applications submitted before the update date follow the previous policy terms. This policy is current as of 2026 and applies to all applications submitted through Canada eTA Apply.
